Also, don’t forget to catch HBO’s gripping miniseries drama about the 1986 meltdown of a Soviet nuclear reactor, Chernobyl, or Ava DuVernay’s heartbreaking When They See Us on Netflix.
But even though this year has been great for television, the competition does get stiffer. These are shows in the fall are sure to get canceled.
