Wendy Stuart and guest co-host Evan Laurence will be hosting TriVersity Talk! this Wednesday at 7 PM ET with featured guest Jae Breslow.

TriVersity Talk! is a weekly web series with featured guests discussing their lives, activism and pressing issues in the LGBTQ Community. With TriVersity Talk!, the goal is to laugh and learn.

TriVersity Talk! Is part of TriVersity’s ICARE Initiative. ICARE stands for Increasing Community Awareness through Relevant Education. ICARE Programs are generously funded by The Greater Pike Community Foundation.

Evan Laurence is a musician, singer/songwriter, improv actor, milliner and creator of couture. He has performed and produced solo and variety shows at Don’t Tell Mama, Pangea, House of Yes, LITM and FM in Jersey City as part of Jersey City Pride, performing parody and original songs. Evan is #211 of Best of 2020 on Jim Silvestri’s popular nightlife  blog https://www.thotyssey.com and is proud to be a regular performer in Chauncey Dandridge’s GLAM award nominated “Freak Out.”

An artist and musician out of Queens, New York, Jae “JQ” Breslow has been involved in visual art shows such as “Born This Way” and “MOSAIC” supporting LGBTQ+ and mental health awareness in the arts. The COVID-19 pandemic created an opportunity out of crisis. The shutdown forced him to find a way to use his time and energy in a healthy way.

Though previously focused on pen-and-ink drawing, after learning the art of weaving chainmaille from a friend during the height of isolation, he found a niche that might otherwise never presented itself. With an interest in fashion already a big part of his self-expression (leading to have been given the nickname “JQ” by his friends), he found a way to apply this ancient artform to his own wardrobe – a choice that changed the trajectory of his creativity.

His brand Odd Mod Creations is the combination of creative expression and luxury jewelry, bringing to life each piece entirely by hand and putting genuinely personal, healing energy and satisfaction into his finished work.
