MONTH OF February

Ready to start putting the pieces together again, Sagittarius? You were launched into a new phase a couple months ago, when the December 4 Sagittarius solar eclipse rearranged your priorities and trajectory. But before you could make sense of it, harmonious Venus went on a six-week retrograde hiatus from December 19 until January 29 in your second house of work, money and daily routines.

Translation: Balance has been an elusive concept! Your coworkers may have been the only people who had contact with you half the time, and even that was probably a struggle at times. Layered on top of a pandemic and the winter, the first month of 2022 has been quite a grind for Sags. (Luckily, you DO like to work—but still…) And with communication planet Mercury also retrograde from January 14 to February 3, it was hard to know where the heck to focus your energy and attention. Everything took longer or had extra plot twists, and at this point you probably feel scattered and battered from it.

Good news: February offers the do-over that everyone needs. And it’s perfectly correct to say “Happy New Year” on February 1, because, well, it’s the Lunar New Year. After a plodding but productive Metal Ox Year, we’ll welcome the Water Tiger, who pounces in with innovative and kinetic energy. That’s more like it!

Your vibrant sign thrives around dynamic people and conversations—and you’ve been missing those! Luckily, February promises to be a social cycle for you. It’s Aquarius season until February 18, which will warm up your third house of local events and interactivity.

You might even do some traveling mid-month as the Leo full moon beams into your worldly ninth house. Treat yourself for Valentine’s Day! Then, hunker down for a final hibernation after February 18, when Pisces season begins and the Sun spends four weeks in your domestic fourth house. With your ruling planet, Jupiter, also in Pisces, home will feel anything but boring, especially if you refill your social tanks for the first three weeks of February. Nest, rest and get ready for an action-packed spring.

Make new friends! It’s Aquarius season + the Lunar New Year

What would you do without your friends, Sagittarius—much less the million acquaintances that you share fun, uplifting exchanges with in passing? Your cheerful sign is forever the energy-lifter of your go-to coffee shop, office pod or neighborhood hotspot. It’s a mutual exchange: You get amped by sharing a joke in the latte line or a magical moment with a stranger who becomes your insta-bestie. So it’s understandable that this pandemic hit you especially hard. Without those boosts of healthy neurochemicals downloading all day long, your moods may tank more readily.

And that’s why (drumroll) you’ll love the 180-degree scene change also known as February 2022. The Sun is in Aquarius and your interactive third house until February 18, reviving your social life and bringing new friends, kindred spirits and opportunities to connect from every direction. With Jupiter in Pisces and your domestic fourth house until May, it’s been all too easy to go shut-in this year. If WFH (work from home) has become a 24/7 reality for you, Aquarius season will break that solitary spell!

No need to make elaborate plans. In fact, it’s best if you don’t. Even if you get out for a coffee walk with a friend or to pick up food from your favorite spot, the variety will lift your spirits. If you’re not 100 percent comfortable in public settings (at least until outdoor seating reopens), feed your curiosity with an online workshop or a great book.

The February 1 Aquarius new moon could bring exciting news or a conversation that snowballs into a much bigger deal between now and the August 11 Aquarius full moon. That evening, gather a few friends to celebrate the Lunar New Year’s arrival. Bid adieu to the hardworking and repetitive Metal Ox energy that governed 2021. An Ox Year is the equivalent of “eating your vegetables” or “taking your vitamins”—boring but ultimately good for you. Still, you’ll fare much better with the trailblazing Water Tiger, which will bring the element of novelty and surprise you’ve been craving.

Already got a new concept simmering? When the Sun and structured, serious Saturn make their annual meetup on February 4, one of your brilliant ideas could turn into something legit. Put in the time and create a polished pitch or proposal—no cutting corners. The more pro-level you go, the better you’ll be received (and the higher your asking price!). You could be invited to team up with a kindred spirit. Take it slow and steady, and start with a small project to test your chemistry.

Mercury retrograde ends February 3

Let’s get some stuff DONE around here! If you’ve been “working harder, not smarter” all year, you’ve got the stars to blame for that. It’s been Inefficiency Central up in your chart, Sagittarius. From tangled expenses to budgetary mishaps to projects that zapped your cognitive capital, it’s been one monetary mess or workplace woe after another.

Thankfully, those frazzled fires are extinguished after February 3, when Mercury—the planet of communicatioclass=”body-el-link standard-body-el-link” n, technology and travel—wraps a tricky retrograde that began on January 14. Until January 25, Mercury was reversing through Aquarius and your communication house, causing tech issues, arguments and misunderstandings. Since the 25th, Mercury’s been in Capricorn, messing with your money mojo and complicating work relationships.

On February 3, you get the all-clear as Mercury resumes forward motion. The quicksilver planet will stay in Capricorn until February 14, an ideal time to budget, plan and catch up on delayed work projects. Empty out your email inbox, respond to messages that piled up and clear the decks before you take on anything new!

The February 8 Mars-Uranus trine sparks healthy habclass=”body-el-link standard-body-el-link” its

One powerhouse day arrives February 8, when Mars forms an opportune trine to innovator Uranus in your sixth house of service, health and systems. An idea for a wellness-based business could take flight, or you might have an aha moment about how you can make a living AND a difference.

Need to change your habits, like, entirely? This fast-acting trine could inspire you to go cold turkey on the bad ones and all-in on a new program. While we support you finally getting that Peloton subscription or reducing your white sugar-and-flour intake, know that this Mars-Uranus mashup could find you making a frenzied move then crashing. While you’re due for a burst of excitement, remember that the goal is to launch into a sustainable new set of habits.

Valentine’s Day brings adventure with a side of stability

Ready for something completely different? Valentine’s Week (the 14th is on a Monday) could deliver the novelty you’ve been craving. On V-Day proper, there’s an almost-full moon in Leo, illuminating your ninth house of travel, adventure and wide horizons. Meantime, romantic Venus and sexy Mars are united in Capricorn, jazzing up your secure, sophisticated second house. While the exact Venus-Mars mashup coincides with the February 16 Leo full moon, you’ll feel this expansive and stabilizing influence all week long.

Does this translate into a luxe Airbnb rental, perhaps, or a night at a chic boutique hotel? Maybe it’s dinner at your favorite international-cuisine restaurant that transports your tastebuds overseas (even if your body is still in the same zip code). Get creative with simple pleasures that have a bold impact and feel like anything BUT the same-old scene.

The February 16 Leo full moon levels up your dreams

A major moment arrives on February 16, when the Leo full moon beams into your ninth house of travel, expansion and visionary ideas. As the natural ruler of this zodiac zone, this might be your favorite full moon of the year. It’s a “dreams come true” day—or a moment of truth when the blinders come off and you can see your life with 20/20 vision. The big plans you’ve been working toward since the August 8, 2021, Leo new moon could come together now.

If you’ve been launching a business or passion project, your indie venture might take off. Have you been playing it too safe or small? (It happens, even to a Sag.) Look past your fears and consider possibilities outside of your current scope. Media-savvy Archers could have the opportunity to teach, publish or broadcast your work to the masses.

Looking to expand your knowledge base? This lunation may inspire a decision to go back to school or enroll in a training program—possibly one that involves stretching your creative muscles by Zooming with like-minded people in your industry or finally taking that master class you’ve been thinking about. There’s no time like the present, Sag!

February 18: Sun enters Pisces

Hibernation high season also begins on February 18, when the Sun slips into Pisces for a month, heating up your domestic fourth house. Better late than never! For the last official month of winter, you can get cozy at home, reading books, catching up on TV series and trying out a new recipe in your air fryer. Add some self-care to your routine or just slow down and keep your schedule loose. Get fancy with your self-care routine and try new bath oil or bubble blends for a bit of escapism fromclass=”body-el-link standard-body-el-link” the comfort of your tub. Kneipp oils come in a rainbow of herbal aromas that you can mix and match to transportclass=”body-el-link standard-body-el-link” your senses; Eucalyptus feels like you’re knee-deep in forest greenery while Mandarin & Orange will perk you up with uplifting citrus.

Your creativity kicks into overdrive, so channel it into a DIY or decorating project. (Check out our Feng Shui courses for ideas! https://galaxy.astrostyle.com/go/feng-shui-courses/) You know that kitchen or bathroom project you’ve been putting off for what feels like years? Start prowling Pinterest and YouTube for tips to get it done, and hit up your favorite antique and thrift stores for unique pieces no one else will have. Women play a prominent role during Pisces season. Step away from your duties to enjoy some downtime with family and nurturing friends. Time with your mom or a mother figure will be especially restorative.

So, where is this thing going? That could have been January’s most unanswerable question thanks to the six-week Venus retrograde spell that just ended on January 29. But this month could be a whole different story as the love planets flip from complicated to clear. It’s time to say what you mean and mean what you say—no apologies needed.

That doesn’t mean you should be heavy-handed or cruel. In fact, just the opposite! You can be gracious and authentic at the same time, and this month’s stars support that. Until March 6, there’s a rare-ish sync between coquettish Venus and lusty Mars. Both planets are in Capricorn and your security-seeking second house until then, teaming up to help you cut the fluff and get down to what matters most.

With Venus and Mars in your second house of values and priorities, your anything-goes Sagittarius habit of minimizing problems is NOT the path to take. Instead of saying, “Eh, I can live with that” (your usual style), you’d be better served by clarifying, “Wait, I can’t live WITHOUT that.” Ask for what you want, Sagittarius. It doesn’t mean the other person can supply it—and it might not even be their job to do that. But you’ll skip a lot of headache and heartache if you’re upfront about your bottom line.

Not sure what that is? Use this month to drill down to that. And don’t feel bad if money or material concerns are part of the package (e.g., you need your partner to have a basic standard of living and income). That’s the domain of the second house. Venus is not only the love goddess, she’s also a wealth magnet. Teamed with ambitious Mars, you might even end up starting a business with your partner or feeling sexy sparks with a coworker.

On Valentine’s Day, Venus and Mars make a near-perfect meetup coming to full conjunction on February 16. That week is divine for a sweet but straightforward conversation about all the aforementioned. Or, if you’ve gotten that squared away, treat yourself—and your favorite plus-one, whoever that may be—to a decadent date in Cupid’s honor! With a Leo full moon in your travel sector on February 16 too, a little pandemic-safe getaway could be in order.

Go, Sagittarius, go! This month brings serious money mojo. From January 24 to March 6, go-getter Mars is blazing through Capricorn, heating up your financial sector. The red planet only visits here every two years, so you’re primed for a boost to your bottom line. Manage your stress (and people’s expectations) because you could have long hours and short deadlines!

Meantime, wealth-attractor Venus finally finished a retrograde in Capricorn on January 29, after disrupting your money house for six frustrating weeks. When Mercury turns direct (forward) in Capricorn on February 3, it’s the all-clear to pour your energy into an exciting and profitable project.

The February 1 Aquarius new moon could bring an opportunity to collaborate or an exciting message, so keep an eye on your inbox. A faraway offer could arrive at the February 16 Leo full moon, perhaps something that involves publishing, broadcasting or spreading your message through an educational endeavor.
