First-time bride Kourtney Kardashian is working on wedding plans for her 2022 nuptials to Travis Barker. After getting engaged to the musician in October, Kardashian is working with her mother Kris Jenner and event planner Mindy Weiss to make her dream day happening…and it’s set to be an intimate event, E! reports.
“They are all doing it together,” one source said of Weiss, Jenner, and Kardashian. “Kourtney is relaxed and laid back about the details. She’s not a bridezilla at all. Travis is also involved, but he lets Kourtney make most of the decisions and wants it to be her day.”
Kardashian and Barker are hoping to wed this year. “Even though Kourtney would like it to be soon, logistically it’s taking some time,” the source said. Barker and Kardashian “want the wedding to happen this year.”

A second source said that the nuptials will be small. “It won’t be a huge event, only close friends and family,” the source said. That source added that Kardashian and Barker are very much looking forward to married life.
“Travis and Kourtney are so in love and have a lot of respect for each other,” the source said. “They are very excited to be married and move on the next chapter together.” The two have been dating for a little over a year.
People reported in late December that Kardashian and Barker are beyond smitten with each other. Barker really changed things for Kardashian, a source said: “[She] was never opposed to marriage [before dating him, but] her thoughts definitely changed when she and Travis became official. Those two spend all their time together and are madly in love.”
“She’s over the moon,” the source added. “They’re almost like high school sweethearts all over again. Neither of them ever thought they’d fall in love like this again.”
