While the temperature on the East Coast has started to drop, Kendall Jenner is making the most of Los Angeles’ temperate Cali fall. The model posted a bikini shot on her Instagram today featuring her in a Juillet green string two-piece with a pink fringe cowgirl hat. “🧠,” she captioned the thirst trap-esque image, which received over 2.1 million likes in its first hour up. She also shared another full body bikini shot on her Instagram Story because why not?

Jenner spoke to Lana Del Rey for ELLE in 2018 about her relationship with Instagram and her social media accounts. She appreciates that they give her control over her public narrative, she started: “It’s nice to be able to say, Do I wanna share this? Usually in my life, I don’t really get a choice, especially with paparazzi.”

She added that she does have trouble with people glued to their social media apps when they’re around her: “It’s an addiction,” she said. “I’ll be at dinner with my good friends, and I’ll look at someone on their phone. They’re not texting someone, which I could accept. Maybe they’re talking about something important, or figuring out an email? No, they’re on Instagram and Twitter. It really does irk me. I’m like, ‘Oh my God, you don’t need to see what everyone else is doing! It’s not like you’re sitting in bed right now.’ I strive to not be that person—to not live my life on my phone.”

Generally, Jenner avoids looking at her comments after one incident taught her the hard way not to be too attached to what people say. “A couple of years ago, someone started using Kylie’s and my pages as a way to promote themselves,” Jenner recalled. “At first, I was annoyed by it, but now I feel like it’s a blessing—it’s trained me to not look at my comments, ever.”
