Andrew Cole:
Born in Toronto, Canada and raised in both Liverpool, England and
the Castle country of North Wales, UK, his family moved often, which
meant that he regularly changed schools and country, suffered IRA
bombings where his childhood friend was murdered by the
Warrington IRA political explosion leaving him vulnerable to abuse
and the PTSD that entered along with it. Inspired to help others who
are suffering at the hands of bullies in school at home and in the
work place he did only what he felt he knew best and wrote a song,“I
Am No Joke”, which has developed into a global movement
#IAMNOJOKE.
Over the past decade, the song and documentary aptly named
#NOJOKE was released to the masses in an attempt to allow viewers
the chance to access intimate in depth conversations about fear.
Therapy sessions from ones heroes so to speak. (if the posters of the
wall could talk) What is fear? What is ‘Loving yourself’? The
importance of mental health and understanding the self preservation
of our own minds through the theory of iconic great minds. The
#IAMNOJOKE project now features over 100 icons from music and
film and boasts musical and verbal contributions from legends such
as ‘Guns n’ Roses’ guitarist Slash, Henry Rollins, Julian Lennon,
Ozzy ‘Black Sabbath’ and Sharon Osbourne, Chad Smith of ‘The Red
Hot Chili Peppers, Steve Vai, Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone age)
Dave Stewart of ‘The Eurythmics’ Meatloaf, Lights, Orianthi (Micheal
Jackson / Alice Cooper), Billy Gibbons of ‘ZZ TOP’, Robby Krieger of
‘The Doors’ and Lemmy Kilminster of Motorhead. Hollywood movie
stars Sir. Patrick Stewart, Jeff Goldblum, Jane Lynch, Charlie Sheen &
Cedric The Entertainer all joined the march in a global effort to give
suicide prevention solutions. Film producer Adam Leipzig (March of
the Penguins) and National Geographic President/former president of
‘Disney Films’ joined the project to help shape Cole’s vision of thefilm.
Early on in 2020, the movement #IAMNOJOKE merged
with Kathy Eldon CEO of ‘Creative Visions Foundation’ and
#WhoCaresIDo as part of Paul McCartney’s anti-bullying awareness
campaign in partnership with ‘Princess Diana’s Trust’. Cole later
received a Canadian Humanitarian Award for his efforts in suicide
prevention. His film #NOJOKE was funded by the Canadian
Government and The Canadian Center for Abuse Awareness CCAA,
The Grammy foundation and school boards across North America
have also joined force.
The nucleus of Cole’s universe? ‘Singer Songwriter’ and multi-
instrumentalist. Canadian icon and humanitarian Tom Cochrane (Life
is a highway) calls him “A voice that most singers would die for”. He
has toured globally both opening or performing with superstars such
as Elton John, Tom Jones, Radiohead, Tears for Fears, Metallica, Lorde,
Tom Jones and John Fogerty performed Oscar, Golden Globe &
Grammy stages and performed at Adele’s 30th Birthday at Karaoke
club Blind Dragon in Hollywood. Cole’s hit single ‘Colorblind’ reached
the 11th spot on Billboard’s Hot 100. His debut full length album
‘Why We Wonder” comprised of some familiar talent as Andrew was
missing a full band. Released in 2012 featured vocals by Canadian
folk artist Kathleen Edwards, Tom Cochrane (Red Rider) , member of
Blue Rodeo Colin Cripps, a Barenaked lady Kevin Hearn, Pat Kilbride
(Andrew Lloyd Webber, Alex Al (Micheal Jackson/ Stevie Wonder/
Sting) an old EMI Mellotron organ used by Paul McCartney on the
archetypal ‘Strawberry Fields”. He was invited to perform at the
infamous ‘The Cavern Club’ Liverpool made famous by ‘The Beatles’
for Lennon’s 70th Birthday party and was presented to the stage by
Yoko Ono.
Andrew’s favorite group growing up was none other than the (1965-
1971) band ‘THE DOORS’ led by cult rock God and poet Jim Morrison
regarded by music critics and fans as one of the most influential frontmen in rock history. Together with guitarist Robby Krieger, Keyboardist Ray Manzarek & drummer John Densmore. The Uncannyirony would take place exactly half a century later as Cole would go on to quite literally fill the boots of the leather clad ‘Lizard King’ himself, as vocal front man. Andrew Cole performs Morrison’s vocals and poetry to this day celebrating the music of ‘The Doors’ alongside original band member (Robby Krieger and his son Waylon) who wrote the masterpieces ‘Light My Fire’ ‘Riders on the Storm’ ‘Break On Through’ & ‘Roadhouse Blues’ ‘The End’ the list continues. Over the past two decades Robby and Andrew have taken over stages with ‘Joe Bonamassa, Billy Gibbons (ZZ top), Orianthi (M.Jackson), Echo & The Bunnymen and others guest super stars.

Very recently this year 24’ Cole attended the 20th Anniversary gala for
‘HollyShorts’ in Hollywood California and was serendipitously
introduced to a Sir. David Bee Lolis. Seconds into the greeting both
parties quickly realized they both had similar adorations, respect and
obsessions for well.. ‘Bees’.
Not only celebrating the beauty of the
Bee in its colorful striped suit, it’s critical and vital role on planet Earth,
but in fact the sweet healing nectar that Bees produce specifically the
super nutritional properties of natural Raw Manuka Honey.
“David Lolis has changed the game in the drink industry as far as I’m
concerned, or rather one could say he’s reinvented the rules of
healthy drinking or at least gone back over 5000 years to a world
where mother nature was the nurse and Honey was a strong medicine
for a gauntlet of ailments. Hive2o has not only opened my eyes and
ears to a new found respect for Bees and their sweet nectar, the
journey and complexly intricate hive systems they build to protect
their Queen. I’m so obsessed and excitable as Hive2o products allow
me to keep my insides clean and dispel toxins with their antibacterial
antioxidant raw super powers. Performing and singing at the upmost
top quality means I cannot get sick, I cannot have a sore throat, my
body hurts when its inflamed, my product is my body, my voice is my
brand and my insides must run as a well oiled healthily maintained machine so that my quality is not diminished and so I live as long as possible without disease.
The real cool thing is, this stuff don’t taste like medicine but rather a
blissful blast of mmmm yum yum ahh, is there any more please –
pure bliss. I can’t wait to try his Water. What a dream, don’t wake me
up Doctor!
