Everyone remembers the theme song from the popular sitcom spinoff of NBC’s Diff’rent Strokes, which aired for nine seasons and 201 episodes and followed upbeat housekeeper Edna Garrett (Charlotte Rae) moving on up to become a housemother at a posh Eastland private girls school in upstate New York. There, she took charge of four teenage girls, snooty Blair (Lisa Whelchel), cheery Natalie (Mindy Cohn), sociable Tootie (Kim Fields) and tough cookie Jo (Nancy McKeon), all needing her love and guidance.
