THE AMERICAN RELICS newest addition to their catalog “The Good Always Come Through” is a hidden country and western gem. The song is infused with effervescent and lush harmonies, great instrumentals and a story making it fit in well with the usual country hit song. Only this song isn’t usual. It borders on the Americana style of music with a vivacious flair.
The song features frontman John Gitano on vocals and guitar along with opera singer Adrienne Dugger leading the harmony. The band also features Nelson Montana who is an extreme bass player but also a multi-instrumentalist, Ian Zane who also plays the bass and guitar, Josh Salant who’s knowledge of engineering and music has been irreplaceable to the band, and Joni Ernst on the keys. Each of the members of the band are songwriters, however, Gitano is the main songwriter for THE AMERICAN RELICS.
The bands influences come from music of the past. The members were around during the 60’s and 70’s, but appreciate the music that is current as well as create music that might well be accepted in the future. They have written and recorded songs in all genres, however, with this song, they are short, a top, the charts in the country music industry. All the band members are no stranger to the music industry, and are world class musicians. Personally, I would like to see more from this band in the country western genre. There is definitely a place in Nashville for a song like this. As it is a song is creating a buzz on the YouTube or Spotify playlist. Keep up the good work THE AMERICAN RELICS!!
