Davido Signs Managerial Partnership With LVRN

The company will provide management and expertise to Davido’s existing team, including Asa Asika of The Plug and Bobo Ajudua.

Davido has officially partnered with LVRN, the Atlanta-based management collective announced Thursday (June 24).

Under the new managerial partnership, LVRN will provide management and expertise to Davido‘s existing team, made up of Asa Asika of The Plug and Bobo Ajudua.

Davido, a Billboard Top Triller Global chart-topper, said in a statement, “Partnering with the team at LVRN was a no-brainer. They are some of the music industry’s most brilliant executives and the work they have done in the past speaks for itself.  Their understanding of the global music landscape and their roots back home, makes this the perfect partnership. I am looking forward to working with them and excited by what the future holds. “

LVRN’s Tunde Balogun added, “Davido, is one of the pioneers of the Afro-beats movement and what he has done with his team is nothing short of phenomenal. We are excited to join his already dynamic team as we take the music and the brand to the next level. This is indeed an exciting time for culture and for us all.”

Currently on tour, the MTV Africa Music Awards and Nigeria Entertainment Awards winner recently delivered a standout performance at Pharrell‘s Something In The Water Festival in Washington, D.C.

Ajudua said of Davido’s partnership with LVRN, “The team at LVRN have a deep understanding of the music industry, but more importantly of this genre of music, so this is a natural and authentic collaboration and we are looking forward to charting this next chapter with the team led by Tunde.”

Additionally, Asika noted, “We are excited to have the LVRN team joining us as we continue to push towards global domination. Tapping into their diverse expertise would be invaluable for us as we embark on this next chapter.”
