Lar Park Lincoln’s Friday the 13th Part 7 Role Explained

Lar Park Lincoln was widely known for her performance in the slasher movie, Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood. On April 22, she passed away at the age of 63. Her cause of death remains unknown at the moment. Although she’s essayed a wide range of roles in films and TV over the years, her performance in Friday the 13th Part 7 stands out.

Here’s everything you need to know about her character in the horror film.

What role did Lar Park Lincoln play in Friday the 13th Part 7: The New Blood?

Lincoln played Tina Shepard in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood.

In the movie, Tina leverages her psychic powers to bring back Jason Voorhees from the dead. He then sets out on a killing spree, with Tina having less time to stop him from murdering innocents.

Tina was born to Amanda and John. Their family resided in a cabin house in Crystal Lake Township. However, she didn’t have a good childhood since her father was abusive and an alcoholic. She witnessed her parents’ distressing fights.

One thing that made her stand out was her psychic powers. She could move things with her mind and also get visions of bad events transpiring. As she was young, she had no idea about the consequences of wielding such impressive abilities.

She once got furious with her dad and wished death upon him. Her powers chaneled her violent words, and it led to her father’s demise. Throughout the years, she remains guilty of killing her dad.

She came across the manipulative Dr. Crews and spent years in therapy. He promised to treat her and made her return to their cabin to reconnect with her dad. But actually all he wanted to do was trigger her psychic talents for his benefit. This false promise led to her unleashing her powers and accidentally resurrecting Jason Voorhees.
