All the Chart Records She’s Broken on the Hot 100

Ariana Grande has been force on Billboard’s charts since making her Billboard Hot 100 debut on April 13, 2013, with “The Way,” featuring Mac Miller. The song debuted at No. 10 and later peaked at No. 9, launching a chart run filled with historic achievements.

Grande has appeared on the Hot 100 in every calendar year since her 2013 arrival and has earned No. 1s in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024 and 2026.

The pop superstar made her first major Billboard chart history on Feb. 23, 2019, when she occupied the top three positions on the Hot 100. Grande became the first solo artist — and only the second act overall, after The Beatles — to claim the chart’s top three spots simultaneously.

Grande has added numerous other chart achievements since then. Ahead of her latest release, petal, she scored her 10th No. 1 hit with “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” and, after the album’s chart debut, she surpassed 100 career Hot 100 entries. She joined Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé as the only women in the chart’s history with more than 100 hits.

As Grande continues to reach new chart milestones, here’s a look at the biggest Hot 100 records that she has broken during her career, through the chart dated Aug. 15, 2026.

    • Most No. 1 Duets

A record four of Grande’s 10 No. 1 Hot 100 hits have been duets: “Stuck With U,” with Justin Bieber; “Rain on Me,” with Lady Gaga; and “Save Your Tears” and “Die for You,” both with The Weeknd.

    • Fastest Accumulation of Two No. 1 Debuts

Of Grande’s eight No. 1 debuts, she earned two in a three-week span. “Stuck With U,” with Justin Bieber, launched atop the chart dated May 23, 2020, and “Rain on Me,” with Lady Gaga, followed two weeks later on June 6, 2020.

    • First Artist To Debut Four (and Then Five) Songs at No. 1

Grande became the first artist to debut four songs at No. 1 on the Hot 100 when “Rain on Me,” with Lady Gaga, opened atop the chart dated June 6, 2020. It followed “Thank U, Next” (Nov. 17, 2018), “7 Rings” (Feb. 2, 2019) and “Stuck With U,” with Justin Bieber (May 23, 2020), in opening at the summit.

She then became the first artist to tally five No. 1 debuts when “Positions” entered atop the chart dated Nov. 7, 2020. Grande has since extended her career total to eight No. 1 debuts.

    • First All-Female Collaboration To Debut at No. 1

When “Rain on Me,” with Lady Gaga, debuted at No. 1 on June 6, 2020, it became the eighth all-female collaboration to top the Hot 100 and the first to debut at the summit. Only one other all-female team-up has launched at No. 1 since: Cardi B’s “WAP,” featuring Megan Thee Stallion, two months later.

    • Most No. 1 Debuts in a Calendar Year (shared)

Grande, BTS and Kendrick Lamar have each debuted three songs at No. 1 on the Hot 100 in a single calendar year, sharing the record.

Grande first achieved the feat in 2020 with “Stuck With U,” with Justin Bieber; “Rain on Me,” with Lady Gaga; and “Positions.” BTS matched it in 2021 with “Butter”; “Permission To Dance”; and “My Universe,” with Coldplay. Lamar followed in 2024 with “Like That,” with Future and Metro Boomin; “Not Like Us”; and “Squabble Up.”

    • Third-Most Hot 100 Entries Among Women

Grande has charted 110 songs on the Hot 100 in her career — the third-most in the chart’s history among women, after Taylor Swift (277) and Nicki Minaj (149). Among all artists, Grande is tied for 18th-most of all time and is one of just 23 artists with 100-plus career entries.

Grande’s career total includes 10 No. 1s (tied for 10th-most in Hot 100 history), 19 top five hits, 25 top 10s, 34 top 20 hits and 64 top 40 titles.
