Paramount Plus‘ new TV and movie releases for April 14-20, 2025, include the documentary The Carters: Hurts to Love You and Inside the Factory Season 8.
On Tuesday, April 15, fans check out the documentary The Carters: Hurts to Love You. This series, directed by Soleil Moon Frye, explores the heartbreaking struggles and challenges faced by the Carters, a family that shot to fame via the musical careers of The Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter and late pop musician Aaron Carter.
Nick and Angel, the only surviving Carter siblings, will offer insights into the Carters’ exploration of their fame and their struggles with mental health and addiction via interviews. Exclusive home videos and family photographs will also be shown to fans to give them a look into the Carters’ professional and personal lives.
Then, April 16 (Wednesday) brings Inside the Factory Season 8 to Paramount Plus. It is a documentary series following Paddy McGuinness and Cherry Healey, who get to visit Britain’s various factories and show fans the various secrets behind the production of various items.
Also releasing on Paramount Plus this week are the films Boogie Woogie and Certain Women.
Duncan Ward directed Boogie Woogie from Danny Moynihan’s script. Set in London, the story follows various characters — Art Spindle, Beth, Bob Macclestone, Jean, Jo, Paige, and Elaine — who all pursue their respective ambitions in a competitive art world.
Meanwhile, Certain Women, set against the backdrop of the American Northwest, follows three strong-willed women. One is a lawyer who is after a worried client, one is a wife and mother with dreams to make her own dream house, and one is a ranch hand who forms a strange and unlikely bond with a young student.
