The weekend means it’s time to relax, however you see fit. We’ve found plenty of deals to aid in your quest for some quality downtime. Craving an outdoor adventure? Want to spend 12 hours with a new video game? Chill out with our top picks below.
REI’s Anniversary Sale is going on right now, and we’ve rounded up our favorite deals right here. Earlier this week, we also collected a few discounts on robot vacuums we’ve tested and liked, and they’re still on sale.

Tech and Streaming Deals
Roku Streambar Pro

The Streambar is a soundbar with Roku built right in. The smaller, less luxe version is one of our favorite 4K streaming devices. The Pro model discounted here has larger speakers, a better remote, and a bigger physical footprint. This 2-in-1 gadget lets you load up your favorite streaming apps, like Netflix or Hulu, and listen to them with much better audio quality than your TV speakers offer (no need to plug a streaming stick into your TV). The $30 discount matches the best deal we’ve seen for the gadget on Amazon. Read our Best Soundbars guide for other recommendations.
The iPad Pro (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is the ultimate iPad. The 11-incher is a really nice size, and thanks to the M1 chip, it has the raw power to justify its price. This model doesn’t have the Mini LED technology of the 12.9-inch model, but it’s still a nice screen with a 120-Hz refresh rate, good cameras, Face ID, and quad speakers. This discount gets you 256 GB of storage for the MSRP of the 128-GB model.
The 2021 iPad Mini (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is a smidge more expensive now than it was a couple of weeks ago, but this is still a great deal. This is the best portable tablet around, perfect for catching up with a book or a movie on the go. Our Best iPads guide has more advice, and you can check out our Best iPad Accessories guide to round out your tablet experience.
OWC Envoy Pro Elektron

Speaking of iPad accessories, this positively tiny and durable solid state drive is perfect for anyone who needs to transfer data back and forth between devices when traveling. It has a USB-C port for data transfer, is quite rugged, and packs a whopping 1 terabyte of storage. Read our Best Portable Storage Drives guide for more.
Our favorite Android tablet is on sale at its lowest price ever. You get a really nice 2K LCD 11-inch screen here with decent performance and great quad speakers for surprisingly good audio. It’ll get two years of security updates and will receive Android 12, but no more updates after that. Read our Best Tablets guide for more.
Click the coupon button on the page to see the discount at checkout. This is our favorite wireless charger. You can place a 4×6 photo between the resin exterior and the wireless charger, meaning it can double as a photo frame (or work of art) when you’re not recharging your phone.
Samsung Galaxy A53

Thanks to its snazzy display, solid battery life, and capable performance, the Samsung Galaxy A53 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is an easy phone to recommend. This ultra-low price makes it even sweeter. It earned a top spot in our Best Cheap Phones guide and is a great alternative to the Google Pixel 5A. This deal is a match for the best price we’ve seen on Amazon.
This mouse goes on sale quite often, but we’ve never seen it fall so low in price when bundled with the wireless charging dock. That dock is one of the reasons the Viper Ultimate earned a spot in our Best Gaming Mice guide. It’ll never run low on battery when you’re in the middle of a gaming session.
This rare deal nearly mirrors what we saw during Black Friday and Cyber Monday last year. New customers are eligible, as are previous subscribers who haven’t had an active subscription for at least one month. The deal is for the ad-supported plan. Hulu is one of our favorite streaming services.
Video Game Deals
Elden Ring

Elden Ring has been making waves—good and bad—since it was released in February. This is the first and best deal we’ve tracked for the game. The discount is matched at Walmart and GameStop. Sorry, Xbox and PC gamers, the discount is only available on PlayStation. Read our in-depth review for more.
This award-winning indie game usually costs $20. While it is discounted on a semi-regular basis, we don’t typically see the price fall as low as this. Purchases can be redeemed via Steam on Windows and Linux PCs. The sale runs for a few more days.
Discounted gift cards are only a “deal” if you planned on spending the money anyway. If you frequently buy new digital downloads for your Nintendo Switch or 3DS, this is an easy way to save a few bucks. (But again, only if you were already planning on spending $50.)
Epic Games is offering Borderlands 3 for a whopping zero dollars. A free Epic Games account is required to download the game, which will be free through May 26. The promotion is part of the Epic Games Mega Sale, which features tons of discounted games. More freebies will be unveiled over the next few Thursdays.
Home and Outdoor Deals
Roborock Q5+
Photograph: Roborock
This is the absolute best robot vacuum. It has a self-emptying bin and long battery life, and it navigates around intelligently. There are also options to customize maps and cleaning patterns, and you can start a cleaning routine by chatting to your smart speaker. This is the best deal we’ve seen for the Q5+. Alternatively, if you want to skip the self-emptying bin, the robot vacuum alone is also on sale. We rounded up more robot vacuum deals earlier this week here.
We have not reviewed the Roborock S5 (we have tested the Roborock S6 MaxV), but the brand has regularly made our list of the very Best Robot Vacuums. The companion app lets you set cleaning schedules and specify where to clean. There’s also voice support for Alexa and Google Assistant. Web reviews say the vacuum is generally quiet and easy to use.
This sale only comes around once per year, and it offers a great chance to save some money on everything an outdoorsy person could need. We found discounted jackets, bike accessories, camping gear, and more. Remember, if you’re an REI Co-op member, you can save up to 20 percent off any full-price item and an extra 20 percent off any REI Outlet item with the code ANNIV22.
