What Is Virgin River About?
Virgin River follows Melinda “Mel” Monroe, who answers an ad to work as a midwife and nurse practitioner in the remote Northern California town of Virgin River.
Though she thinks it will be the perfect place to start fresh and leave her painful memories behind, Mel soon discovers that small-town living is not quite as simple as she expected.
After the tumultuous cliffhanger ending of Virgin River’s holiday episodes, audiences are likely frothing at the mouth over what important thing Mel’s dad, Everett, had to tell her.

This news may be a bummer for some viewers since both Season 4 and Season 5 had a total of twelve episodes.
