Band members Randy Blythe (vocals), Duane Morton (guitar), Willie Adler (guitar), John Campbell (bass) and Chris Adler (drums) then proceeded to tour for two solid years, greatly developing their fan base before recording 2003’s ‘As the Palaces Burn,’ which won top honors from both ‘Revolver’ and ‘Metal Hammer’ magazines, and led to a major label deal with Epic Records. Lamb of God continued their inexorable career march with the following year’s ‘Ashes of the Wake,’ 2006’s Grammy-nominated ‘Sacrament,’ 2009’s ‘Wrath,’ which amazingly climbed to number two on the Billboard charts, and 2012’s ‘Resolution,’ which paved the way to the band’s most extensive global touring yet. Then, on June 27, 2012, singer Randy Blythe was arrested in Prague on accusations of inflicting bodily harm upon a fan who had died after Lamb of God’s performance in that city, two years earlier.
