Will Trent Season 3 Episode 11 Spoilers: Will’s Mistake Crushes the GBI

Will Trent Season 3 Episode 11 Spoilers: Will’s Mistake Crushes the GBI

Hasn’t Will suffered enough? Apparently not.

The spoilers for Will Trent Season 3 Episode 11 tease that Will accidentally shoots a child while apprehending a suspect and faces a tense internal investigation and the fallout afterward.

That’s not even all of it. This episode looks very Will-centric as he deals with Marion’s reaction and feeling torn between his feelings for her and Angie.

Finally, Will’s friendship with Faith is tested, and we’re unsure if that’s because of this case or his alliance with Jeremy. Poor Will. He’s about to get tested.

This Error of Judgement Will Cause Will Even More Trauma

Will Trent has featured some horrific cases, but they’ve stayed away from any of the agents harming witnesses.

We know it happens. Nick Amaro shot an unarmed teenager on Law & Order: SVU, and he struggled with being a detective afterward.

I hate that Will Trent is doing something similar with Will. Will has been through so much, and he would never intentionally harm a child.

I suspect that he was so intent on chasing the suspect that he didn’t see the door open, and the bullet ricocheted in there and hit the young boy.

It looks like the boy’s older brother shouts for help as Will’s life gets complicated.

We’ve seen Ramon Rodriguez bring layered, emotional performances before, but this looks like his best work as he breaks down in regret.

This will probably be his most emotional arc because he’ll have to live with whatever happens to that poor kid. For Will, that’s a harsher punishment than anything else.

Will’s Error Has Horrible Consequences on Will Trent Season 3 Episode 11

Shooting that young boy will divide the GBI and APD since an internal investigation will ensure that Will followed the rules.

Amanda will defend Will until the end of the earth. That is her kid, and she believes that he followed the procedure.

She’ll feel awful that a child was hurt, but her priority will be protecting Will. We’ve seen that those two are a team.

He would do anything for her, as proven on Will Trent Season 2 Episode 5, when Amanda had her own legal problems.

As far as we know, Faith didn’t witness the shooting, so she’ll likely support Will, too, at least in this.

Even if things end up being strained regarding Jeremy, Faith knows Will will never intentionally harm anyone.

However, his intent may not matter since the captain will likely arrest Will. It’s awkward since both departments work so closely together.

But he won’t grant Will any favors, especially after he arrested Angie, someone in his own department.

If APD and Marion work together to gather evidence from the victim’s family, how will that affect Will?

He hates being unable to protect kids, so he’ll feel tremendous guilt, and I wonder if he’ll even want to work in law enforcement.

Will’s Day Gets Worse When His Friendship With Faith is Tested

Additional spoilers hint that Faith and Will’s friendship will be tested. We’re guessing the truth about Will helping Jeremy will also come out.

Faith wouldn’t approve of Will shooting a child, but she would likely stand by her partner unless she saw something not in the weekly promo.

Partners do this — they have each other’s backs, and that’s what Will tried to do by preventing Jeremy from going to prison.

The problem with that idea was that Jeremy could get hurt if Rafael Wexford learned that Jeremy was a snitch working for Will.

Rafael Wexford takes pleasure in being in control. Will and His dynamic used to be interesting, but now it’s grown disturbing.

Will and Jeremy should have clued Faith in from the beginning because she loves her son more than anything.

While she cares deeply for Will, I’m unsure if Faith will forgive him for this. It took weeks for their friendship to recover after he shut her out last time.

Will Marion’s Reaction Send Will Back to Angie?

This case will be complicated since Marion is the DA and is dating Will. Technically, she should recuse herself from the case.

While I understand her horror, she should know the guilt Will feels from shooting a child.

Her reaction could make or break their blossoming relationship.

Spoilers hint that Will is torn between his relationship with Marion and lingering feelings for Angie.

Since Will and Angie are often trauma-bonded, perhaps she’ll be the one to support him. While I adore Will, after what happened in the Will Trent Season 2 finale, this flips the script.

    (ABC/Screenshot)

Part of me hopes Angie supports him because I love angsty couples reuniting after trauma, but these two deserve happiness.

This is massive and will be a considerable clincher when it comes to which woman gets his heart.

Over to you, Will Trent Fanatics. What are you excited to see on “Best of Your Recollection”?

Will the GBI prove Will’s innocence, and will he be able to live with it? Which woman will he choose?

Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Will Trent airs at 8/7c on Tuesdays on ABC and Hulu the following day.
