Daryl Dixon’s (Norman Reedus) Walking Dead story continues this fall.
Timed to Bastille Day on July 14, AMC Networks announced that The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, following the character who was introduced in the first season of the original series in the TWD Universe, will premiere on Sunday, September 10, at 9/8c on AMC and streaming on AMC+. New photos were also released, which you can check out above and below. They offer a look at Daryl and the new characters from the series that were shot in and around Paris, France.
In The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, Daryl washes ashore in France and struggles to understand how and why he got there. The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.
The series also stars Clémence Poésy, Adam Nagaitis, Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebouaney, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Levi, and Louis Puech Scigliuzzi. It is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, showrunner David Zabel, Reedus, Greg Nicotero, Angela Kang, Brian Bockrath, and Daniel Percival.
Daryl Dixon is just one of several series in The Walking Dead Universe set after the original series; Dead City, starring Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, is currently airing, and still to come is a spinoff starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira.
