Lunice, the Montreal producer of TNGHT fame, has announced his new album Open. The follow-up to 2017’s CCCLX is out June 23 via LuckyMe. Along with the announcement, Lunince has shared the Cameron Morse–directed video for the new single “No Commas.” The track features Cali Cartier. Watch it below.
“This track is the result of multiple natural occurrences where the melody, drums and vocal performance coincidentally fit with each other in the moment of creation without any prior motive behind it,” Lunice said in a statement. “I find these instinctual moments of creativity beautiful and inspiring.”
After a hiatus, TNGHT returned in 2019 with the II EP. The duo more recently dropped “Brick Figures” in December 2021.
