Oliver Sim, the bassist and vocalist of the xx, has released another new solo song. “Fruit” is the follow-up to “Romance With a Memory,” which arrived last month. It was similarly produced by Sim’s bandmate Jamie xx, and it comes with a new music video directed by Yann Gonzalez. Watch it below.
Along with “Fruit,” Sim has announced a series of solo shows set for May in London, Paris, Berlin, New York and Los Angeles. “Joined by some very talented new friends. I’ll be playing my extensive back catalogue of two songs and something extra 😉 Come see me,” he remarked in a statement.
