The Twilight Singers have announced their definitive box set” Black Out the Windows/Ladies and Gentlemen, the Twilight Singers is out in October via One Little Independent. The limited-edition, 13-piece vinyl box set (six double albums and an EP) comes with reimagined album covers and a bonus album called Etcetera, which features rare and previously unreleased material including the band’s cover of Prince’s “When Doves Cry.”
“There was a freedom I found in making this music that brought me back to my teenage days,” the Twilight Singers’ Greg Dulli said in a statement. “Untethered from preconception or expectations, I could just fly around and create mini groups that stood alone under the Twilight umbrella.”
The box set includes a book that features essays from the late Mark Lanegan, as well as Guns N’ Roses’ Duff McKagan, the Church’s Steve Kilbey, and more. It also includes unseen photos from across the band’s history.
