Present at Super Bowl LIX to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift experienced something very unfamiliar: boos.
The pop star was met with jeers when her face appeared on the big screen, presumably from the large contingent of Philadelphia Eagles fans in the crowd.
This year’s Super Bowl marks Swift’s second consecutive appearance at the big game, and she was joined once again by rapper Ice Spice. As the members of the crowd confirmed their preference for the Eagles over the Chiefs, Swift laughed it off. (After all, this is the same fan base who once threw snow balls at Santa Claus.) Swift could be seen mouthing, “What’s going on?”
Swift will be in attendance for the hotly anticipated halftime performance by Kendrick Lamar, who took home multiple trophies at this past weekend’s Grammy Awards.
