Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian & More

It’s that time of year again: Halloween, which means a trick-or-treat bag’s worth of celebrity costumes ranging from spooky to cutesy to pop culture-referencing.

That includes the usual suspects, stars who’ve long been showcasing their love of the holiday with increasingly elaborate looks. Paris Hilton returned with another Halloween tribute to her friend and pop icon Britney Spears — which she premiered in photos shared exclusively with Billboard — as well as a wholesome family dress-up borrowed from a beloved Disney princess movie. Janelle Monáe has also gone all out once again ahead of her annual Wondaween festival, and a costume triangle of sorts has emerged between Kim Kardashian, her daughter North West and Natalie Nunn.

As for costumes specifically honoring something that happened in 2026, Owen Thiele and Benito Skinner are arguably the front runners with a two-person look that recreated one of the year’s buzziest pop collaborations. (Whether you’re a celebrity or not, there’s still time to pull together a 2026-specific Halloween look — here’s some ideas Billboard put together recently referencing Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance, Taylor Swift watching the New York Knicks and more.)

With the next few days bringing more and more ‘stumes leading up to the main event on Saturday (Oct. 31), Billboard is keeping track of all of the best celebrity looks. Whether you’re searching for some last-minute inspo or simply want to check out what the biggest names in entertainment are doing for the holiday this year, keep reading to learn about the best Halloween costumes we’ve seen below — and keep checking back for updates!

    • Paris Hilton as Britney Spears

Paris Hilton continued her tradition of paying homage to the Princess of Pop for the fourth Halloween in a row, this time dressing up as Britney Spears performing “I’m a Slave 4 U” at the 2001 VMAs. “Britney is not only an icon, but also a dear friend, and I’ll always love celebrating her and the incredible impact she’s had on all of us,” Hilton told Billboard of the look.

Later, she’d share a second 2026 costume inspired by Beauty and the Beast that got her whole family involved.

See Hilton as Britney Spears here and as Princess Belle alongside her family here.

    • Kim Kardashian as North West

Kim Kardashian didn’t have to look farther than her own home for her Halloween 2026 muse, dressing up as daughter North West. The reality star completed her look with a turquoise wig, long nails and goth clothing, either replicas of North’s look or borrowed straight from the source.

      See Kardashian’s costume here.

    • North West as Natalie Nunn

While mom was dressing up as her, North West was transforming into the Bad Girls Club star, with a prosthetic chin, angled bob and “Baddies” necklace. She later dressed up as Raven from Teen Titans, donning a purple cloak and red diamond gem on her forehead.

See North as Nunn here and Raven here.

    • Natalie Nunn as North West

“Uno reverse 🔄 @northwest,” Nunn wrote on Instagram while unveiling her 2026 costume: North West. In response to Kardashian and Ye’s eldest daughter dressing up as her, Nunn repaid the favor by joining Kardashian in dressing up as North in turquoise pigtails and a studded collar.

See Nunn as North West here.

    • Cyndi Lauper as Ursula

Cyndi Lauper joined Bette Midler at the New York Restoration Project’s annual Hulaween gala photo call, sporting a chic Phantom of the Opera-esque masquerade look. Inside the event, Lauper switched into a detailed Ursula costume for a performance of her signature Billboard Hot 100 smash, “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” which she switched to “Ghouls Just Want to Have Fun” for the occasion.

See her with Midler here and as Ursula here.

    • Chloe Bailey as Meg Griffin

Chloe Bailey recognized Family Guy‘s most under-appreciated family member, Meg Griffin, by dressing up as the “Hot Meg” version of her for Halloween. The R&B singer showed off her figure in a pink strapless bra, denim skirt and boots, topping it off with Meg’s signature pink beanie and glasses.

      See Bailey as Meg here.

    • Owen Thiele & Benito Skinner as PinkPantheress & Zara Larsson

Owen Thiele and Benito Skinner dressed up as one of pop music’s most dynamic duos in 2026: PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson, whose remix of “Stateside” reached No. 6 on the Hot 100 in March. The two friends recreated the pop stars’ plaid skirts and colorfully airbrushed baby tees from the “Stateside” music video for the look.

See Thiele and Skinner as Pink and Larsson here.

    • Travis Barker & Kourtney Kardashian as Vampires

Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian have always loved gothic aesthetics, but at the 23rd birthday party for the Blink-182 drummer’s son, they went full vamp. The couple dressed up in all black and even added a touch of blood trickling down from the corners of their mouths to make it extra spooky.

See Barker and Kardashian as vampires here.

    • Victoria Justice & Madison Grace as the Shining Twins

Longtime Halloween lover Victoria Justice recruited her sister, Madison Grace, to dress up as the creepy twins from The Shining. “Come & play with us, Danny. Forever… and ever… and everrrrr,” she captioned an Instagram post showing off the look.

The Victorious alum also popped out in a few different zombie-themed looks — including a zombie bride — as well as an elfish mushroom-inspired getup.

See some of Justice’s costumes here, here and here.

    • Janelle Monáe as Ghostess With the Mostess

Janelle Monae started preparing for this year’s Wondaween by transforming herself into a green, decomposing zombie-like creature, which she dubbed “Hostess With the Mostess” in a video showing how she achieved the makeover. She pulled out all the stops for the look, topping it off with a swirly fake eye and blood spurting out of a faux wound in her neck.

See Monae as “Hostess With the Mostess” here.

    • Lizzo as Granny Seiko

Lizzo tapped into her anime fandom for Halloween 2026, dressing up as Seiko Ayase from the anime Dandadan. As she does every year, the hitmaker went all out, this time donning a tall white wig and a massive faux bust.

      See her as Seiko here.

    • Erika Jayne as Cruella

Erika Jayne joined Lauper in channeling an iconic Disney villain for this year’s Hallow’s Eve, dressing up as Cruella de Vil from One Hundred and One Dalmatians. “Miserable, darling, as usual. Perfectly wretched,” the Real Housewives star captioned a video showing off the look, which came with a campy wig, spotted coat and retro cigarette holder.

      See Jayne as Cruella here.

    • Umi as Janet Jackson

Umi dressed up — or should we say dressed down — to channel a bare-chested Janet Jackson on the cover of Rolling Stone in 1993. With no top and unbuttoned jeans, plus the iconic hands covering her bust from behind, the singer recreated Miss Jackson’s pose and sepia-toned photo for Halloween this year.

      See her as Jackson here.

    • Keke Palmer & Son Leo as Janet & Michael Jackson

Keke Palmer and her 3-year-old son, Leo, honored both Janet and Michael Jackson for Halloween 2026, adorably recreating the iconic pop siblings’ “Scream” music video. Miss Jackson was a big fan, reposting a few of Palmer’s posts featuring the getup on Instagram Stories and writing, “HOW CUTE!”

See Palmer and Leo as Janet and Michael Jackson here.

    • GloRilla as Ciara

GloRilla paid respects to Ciara by recreating the cover art of the R&B singer’s 2004 “Goodies” single, complete with a pink hoodie and cross necklace.

      See GloRilla as Ciara here.

    • Summer Walker as Dr. Frank-N-Furter

Summer Walker honored Tim Curry, who died in August, by dressing up as his iconic Rocky Horror Picture Show character Dr. Frank-N-Furter in a video lip-syncing to “Sweet Transvestite.” “R.I.P Tim Curry🥰 Dr. Frank & Furter 1975,” she wrote in her caption.

      See Walker as Curry here.

    • Lily Allen as Ticketing Seat Map

Lily Allen poked fun at the chaotic live music industry by dressing as an online ticket-seller seat map. “Never beating the allegations. #bluedotfever,” she wrote on Instagram, captioning a series of photos showing off her white jumpsuit with a bunch of blue spots arranged in seating blocks.

See Allen as a ticketing seat map here.

    • Lizzo as Dolly Parton

Lizzo paid tribute to Dolly Parton, recreating the country icon’s look from the artwork for her 1973 hit single “Jolene.” The costume featured a skin-tight yellow floral jumpsuit and platinum blonde wig, with the singer-rapper sharing her admiration for the late country icon in a heartfelt Instagram post.

      See her as Parton here.

    • Justin & Hailey Bieber as Devil & Angel

Justin and Hailey coordinated their Halloween costumes, with the Rhode founder dressing as an angel in a feathered white look complete with wings and a halo, while the pop superstar embraced his devilish side in an all-red outfit topped off with horns and a pointy tail.

See Justin and Hailey as devil and angel here.

    • KATSEYE as DC Characters

KATSEYE brought some DC flair to Halloween this year, with the members dressing up as some of the franchise’s most recognizable characters. Yoonchae went full Harley Quinn, Megan transformed into Poison Ivy, Daniela suited up as Wonder Woman and Lara channeled Catwoman.

“good luck picking a side,” the group captioned a fierce photo on Instagram.

See KATSEYE as DC superheroes & villains here.

    • Slayyyter as Playmate of the Year from “Apocalypse Now”

Slayyyter traveled back to the 1970s for Halloween this year, dressing up as Cynthia Wood’s Playmate of the Year character from Francis Ford Coppola’s 1979 film Apocalypse Now. In the Vietnam War film, Wood played the Playmate during the movie’s memorable USO show scene.

“APOCALYPSE NOW, PLAYMATE OF THE YEAR!” the singer captioned a series of photos showing off her costume on Instagram.
