Since issuing Afrique Victime, Moctar has released a documentary about the making of the album and the Live at the Niger River performance video. In February, Moctar shared nine previously unreleased tracks—including the new “Nakanegh Dich”—as part of a deluxe edition of Afrique Victime. After that, the guitarist released Afrique Refait, a collection of Afrique Victime remixes assembled by other artists from Africa.
