Hi, I’m Madeline Edwards, and here’s some of my favorite Texas slang.

I’m from H-Town, and there are 1,000 different names for Houston. H-Town is one of them. We got Screwston, Hub City, Space City, Clutch City.

If you live in Houston, then you know inner loop and outer loop. That’s basically like if you’re a 15-minute drive away, or if you’re an hour and a half drive away.

Well, there’s a bunch of names for Beyoncé because she’s our Queen Bey, and she’s in Houston. So obviously we have Queen B, Bey, Bee, you know, 1,000 different ways to say Beyoncé, but Drake’s favorite city is also Houston. I don’t know if that’s slang or not, but we need to make sure that’s a thing.
