Dominic Toretto and his family of heroes are back in Fast X, the tenth movie in the Fast & Furious series. But who dies in this new installment?
Vin Diesel stars in this movie as Dom, who must protect his family from Dante (Jason Momoa). A few of the Fast & Furious movies have some of our favorite characters dying, and some audience members may wonder if any characters die in Fast X. Here is a list of who dies in Fast X.

Who dies in Fast X?
Jakob Toretto (John Cena) dies in Fast X.
During the climactic final action set piece, Jakob is transporting Dom’s son Brian (Leo Abelo Perry) to safety when Dante kidnaps him. Dom pursues him, but Jakob realizes he must protect Dom and Brian from Dante’s henchman. Jakob sacrifices himself to take out many of Dante’s men in a fiery explosion.
This marks an emotional moment in the series. In the film’s predecessor, F9: The Fast Saga, Jakob was the villain, and he is double-crossed near the end by Otto (Thue Ersted Rasmussen) and Cipher (Charlize Theron). He joins the side of the good guys and spends the majority of Fast X keeping Brian safe. Although this now appears to be the end of John Cena’s stint in the Fast & Furious series, this franchise has a habit of bringing people back from the dead, so it might not be over for him.
Another character who dies is Diogo (Luis Da Silva), a Brazilian street racer who allies himself with Dom. He had previously appeared in Fast Five and is killed by Dante during a street race when he rigs a bomb underneath his car. The ending also features a plane with Roman (Tyrese Gibson), Tej (Ludacris), and Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel) getting shot down by Aimes (Alan Ritchson). It is unknown whether our heroes survived the explosion. Dante also rigs bombs to explode near Dom and Brian. With nowhere else to escape, the film cuts to the credits. We now have to wait for Fast & Furious 11 to see how Dom will survive this situation.
