What Happens to President Hagan & First Lady?

The Night Agent has concluded another exhilarating season on a high note, especially with the Season 3 ending. The hit Netflix show returned on February 19, 2026, and weaved a tense narrative, which left viewers with some burning questions.

Here’s a breakdown of what went down in the finale of The Night Agent Season 3.

What happens in The Night Agent Season 3?

After a packed season full of twists, turns, and surprises, the finale of The Night Agent Season 3 sees Peter and Chelsea working together against their former ally, Adam. On orders from President Hagan, Adam tries to “take care of” Chelsea, as she knows many of the secrets.

Adam drives away with Chelsea, but she sends Peter a pin. When Adam realizes Chelsea has understood his motivation, things escalate in the car. Chelsea manages to unbuckle Adam’s seatbelt and cause a car crash.

This initially seems to be enough, but Adam manages to escape without much damage. A chase ensues, and Peter soon joins in and helps Chelsea escape. Adam keeps trailing them to the train station, where he shoots Peter in the leg.

Peter ultimately faces Adam and threatens to kill him despite his injury. Moved, Adam decides to do the right thing and backs off.

Do President Hagan and First Lady face consequences in The Night Agent Season 3?

Yes, President Hagan and the First Lady do face consequences for their actions at the end of The Night Agent Season 3. The pair are ousted from the White House and face a Senate hearing after the truth is broadcast to the world.

However, in a way, they do get away with it, as Hagan pardons himself and his wife while still the President, effectively avoiding prosecution.

The end of the show also hints at a possible fourth season, with a new narrative and a new case.

The Night Agent Season 3 is now streaming on Netflix.
