A Taylor Swift fan recently decided to divorce her husband after he had booed the singer during the Super Bowl. Swift recently attended the event to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, in their bout against the Philadelphia Eagles. Unfortunately, when she appeared on the jumbotron, instead of being greeted with cheers, she was met with some boos.

Louisa Melcher, a Taylor Swift fan, recently took to social media to confirm that she was divorcing her husband for booing at the singer during the 2025 Super Bowl, which they both attended.
“I’m divorcing my husband because he booed Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl,” Melcher said on TikTok. She then noted that her husband probably does not believe her.
Melcher then showed viewers the paperwork she filed at the courthouse. She pointed to the date of separation as being the same date the Super Bowl took place.
“I’m not just doing this because of the action of booing, I am doing this because of everything that it represents in our relationship,” she added.
Melcher then spoke about how she has been an ardent fan of Swift since she was 12 years old. She also mentioned that her husband, who had booed her, was also a fan of Swift. She added that he would put on the “Bad Blood” singer’s music whenever they cooked. She further mentioned that his favorite song was “Girl At Home.”
She then mentioned that her husband joined five of his friends, with whom they were attending the Super Bowl, in booing at the singer. Melcher stressed how her husband did not care about her feelings, because he wanted to “look cool.” She pointed out how his behavior was more like that of a “boy” than of a “man.”
