A24 has officially set the Onslaught release date. The upcoming action movie stars Adria Arjona fighting against an almost superpowered group of mercenaries.
When is Onslaught’s release date?
Onslaught’s release date has been set for September 4, 2026, as revealed by the film’s trailer. While not online just yet, Onslaught’s trailer has begun playing in front of A24’s recently released Backrooms. The trailer for the movie is brief, but shows a trailer park that lives near a military base.
One day, a group of mercenaries that had been experimented on breaks free and begins causing havoc with their nearly superpowered abilities. A mother in the park (played by Adria Arjona) and the rest of the park then go up against the group.
Alongside Arjona, Onslaught also stars Dan Stevens, former UFC champion Alex Pereira, Michael Biehn, Drew Starkey, Rebecca Hall, Eric Wareheim, Maurice Green, and Reginald VelJohnson. The movie is directed by Adam Wingard, and written by Wingard’s longtime collaborator, Simon Barrett.
Wingard and Barrett rose to fame following their 2014 action thriller The Guest (which also starred Stevens), but have worked together on a number of films since, including Blair Witch and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.
Arjona is best known for her roles in Pacific Rim Uprising, Hit Man, Blink Twice, and Splitsville. She’s also set to star in the upcoming The Thomas Crown Affair remake and the Superman follow-up Man of Tomorrow.
