Peacock’s TV and movie lineup for August 11-17, 2025, includes new episodes of Love Island: Beyond the Villa and Twisted Metal, the Resident Alien Season 4 finale, and The Rainmaker Season 1 Premiere.
Thursday, August 14, 2025, brings new episodes of Love Island: Beyond the Villa and Twisted Metal Season 2 to Peacock. The former is a spin-off of Love Island USA and follows the participants of that show’s sixth season as they explore new careers and changing relationship dynamics. Meanwhile, the latter is an action-adventure comedy show based on PlayStation’s vehicular combat video game franchise of the same name.
Friday, August 15, 2025, brings Resident Alien Season 4’s finale to Peacock. Helmed by Chris Sheridan, the mystery-drama follows Harry Vanderspeigle, an alien from outer space who arrives on Earth with the mission to destroy it, but eventually forms a connection with humanity, leading to him abandoning his original mission. He then forms friendships and alliances and begins helping out several people with various problems.
Finally, Saturday, August 16, 2025, sees The Rainmaker release on Peacock. This legal mystery-drama follows Rudy Baylor, who comes into conflict with courtroom lion Leo Drummond and his law school girlfriend Sarah Plankmore.
Also releasing on Peacock this week is the film Monkey Man.
Monkey Man is an action-thriller film directed by and starring Dev Patel. The story follows Kid, a young man making a living in the underground fight club scene, who goes on a revenge campaign against those who took everything away from him.
