A brand new King of the Hill reboot trailer is out, revealing who will play the role of Kahn in the upcoming revival of the comedy series.
Who is voicing Kahn in the new King of the Hill revival?
The latest trailer for the show shows Hank and Peggy returning from Saudi Arabia, where they catch up with their neighbors and settle back into life in Arlen, Texas. Alongside the trailer, it was also revealed that The Daily Show’s Rony Chieng has joined the cast to play the role of Kahn Souphanousinphone.
Chieng will be taking over the role from Toby Huss, who previously voiced Kahn through the show’s first 13 seasons. Huss is still involved, though, and will be voicing Dale Gribble beginning with Episode 7 of the revival, following original voice actor Johnny Hardwick’s passing.
King of the Hill will officially return to Hulu on August 4, 2025, with 10 episodes arriving on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.

According to the revival’s synopsis, Season 14 of King of the Hill will pick up after the show’s original ending. Years after “working a propane job in Saudi Arabia to earn their retirement nest egg, Hank and Peggy Hill return to a changed Arlen, Texas to reconnect with old friends Dale, Boomhauer and Bill. Meanwhile, Bobby is living his dream as a chef in Dallas and enjoying his 20s with his former classmates Connie, Joseph and Chane.”
King of the Hill Season 14 will star Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, Johnny Hardwick, Stephen Root, Lauren Tom, and Toby Huss. It’s currently unclear how the show will address several characters, including Luanne (Brittany Murphy) and Lucky (Tom Petty), all of whose voice actors have since passed away.
The King of the Hill revival will once again be executive produced by Daniels and Judge, with the latter also returning to voice his role as Hank Hill. The project is produced by 20th Television Animation and Bandera Entertainment.
