A new It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 16 teaser trailer has been released, giving fans a look at some of the characters that will pop up in the newest season. Actress Rhea Perlman makes a brief appearance in the trailer, as do the popular characters Liam and Ryan McPoyle — played by Jimmi Simpson and Nate Mooney, respectively.
“The Gang is ripping straight from the headlines — Inflation, US-Russian relations, mental health, gender equality, injury liability, gun control, and … celebrity-branded products,” reads the synopsis for the upcoming season. “But there’s nothing sweet about them as Mac, Charlie, Dennis, Dee, and Frank yearn for the past as they attempt to survive in 2023.”
