Freakier Friday is almost out, and ahead of the film’s release on August 8, fans now know what type of popcorn buckets and other collectibles will be available for the movie.

How to get the Freakier Friday popcorn bucket

Regal Movies recently took to social media to share their Freakier Friday popcorn bucket, aptly named the Swapcorn bucket. The bucket is divided into two halves, perfect for two different types of popcorn, an ode to the movie about people switching bodies.

The bucket will be available at participating Regal chains. Alongside that, other theaters have shown off their own collectibles, including Marcus Theatres, which is giving out free guitar pick keychains with a ticket purchase.

Switch it up with every bite when you get a Swapcorn. Featuring the best of both worlds with a large popcorn in a divided bucket – classic buttery popcorn on one side and caramel on the other.

“In the film, Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice,” reads the official synopsis.

Freakier Friday is directed by Nisha Ganatra (Late Night) from a screenplay written by Jordan Weiss, based on Mary Rodgers’ 1972 novel of the same name.

Taking place years after the events of the original, the sequel will also introduce new cast members Manny Jacinto (The Good Place), Sophia Hammons (Up Here), Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (Never Have I Ever), and Julia Butters (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, The Fabelmans).

The film is produced by Curtis, Andrew Gunn, and Kristin Burr, with Lohan, Nathan Kelly, and Ann Marie Sanderlin serving as executive producers.
