    Fast X Ending Explained

The tenth movie in the Fast and Furious series has arrived in theaters. Fast X stars Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto as he must protect his family from Dante (Jason Momoa), the son of Hernan Reyes from Fast Five. This action film directed by Louis Leterrier brings back our characters for more crazy fun, and audiences who have not seen the film may wonder what happens at the ending of Fast X. Here is everything that occurs in the final act of the film.

Beware, spoilers lie ahead for Fast X!

What happens in the Fast X ending?

Fast X’s ending features a huge car chase with Dom in one car and Jakob (John Cena) in another car with his son Brian (Leo Abelo Perry). Dante takes Brian hostage. Dom is able to get his son back, but in the process, Jakob sacrifices himself in a fiery explosion.

Dom finds himself surrounded by two oil trucks that drive toward him. He drives off the dam just in time as his car is nearly engulfed in the explosion. However, he makes it out alive, saving his son in the process.

Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and Cipher (Charlize Theron) are in Antarctica. Gisele Yashar (Gal Gadot) appears in a submarine, marking a significant moment in the Fast series as she previously died in Fast & Furious 6. How is she still alive? This is a question that will be answered in the 11th movie.

Dante rigs bombs to explode next to Dom and Brian. Aimes (Alan Ritchson), who was Mr. Nobody’s replacement, is revealed to be working with Dante. He shoots down a plane carrying Roman (Tyrese Gibson), Tej (Ludacris), and Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel). The film cuts to the credits on a cliffhanger ending, and audiences will have to wait for Fast & Furious 11 to see how Dom gets out of this one alive.
