What do we know about Enola Holmes 3?
Enola Holmes 3 is directed by Emmy winner Philip Barantini, with Jack Thorne writing the screenplay. It is based on the Enola Holmes Mysteries novel series by Nancy Springer. In the third installment, Brown returns as Sherlock Holmes’ equally brilliant younger sister, who also has a knack for solving crimes and mysteries. Her next adventure brings her to the island of Malta. This marks Brown’s latest collaboration with the streamer, after wrapping up the fifth and final season of Stranger Things last December.
The movie also features Louis Partridge as Tewkesbury, Himesh Patel as Dr. Watson, Sharon Duncan-Brewster as Mira Troy/Moriarty, Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, and Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes. In addition to leading the cast, Brown is also producing alongside Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Ali Mendes, Robert Brown, Michael Dreyer, and Thorne. It is also executive-produced by Joshua Grode, Jake Bongiovi, and Isobel Richards. The show is a production by Legendary Entertainment and PCMA Productions.
After Enola Holmes 3, Brown will next be seen in two more Netflix movies: the romantic comedy film Just Picture It with Gabriel LaBelle and the recently announced World War II movie, Nineteen Steps. The latter is based on Kathleen McGurl’s bestselling 2023 novel of the same name, with Academy Award-winning filmmaker Tom Hooper attached to direct.
