Lionsgate has dropped the official trailer for American Carnage, the horror comedy thriller starring Jorge Lendeborg Jr. and Jenna Ortega. The film is now available for streaming on digital and VOD. It will then be followed by a Blu-ray and DVD release on August 30.

The American Carnage trailer, which you can check out below, features a group of undocumented teen immigrants who have no choice but to volunteer at a nursing home. A seemingly normal task turns into a nightmare when some of the old people started acting weird.
American Carnage stars Jorge Lendeborg Jr. (Night Teeth), Jenna Ortega (Scream), Allen Maldonado (Black-ish), Brett Cullen (Devious Maids), and Eric Dane (Grey’s Anatomy).
“After a governor issues an executive order to arrest the children of undocumented immigrants, the newly detained youth are offered an opportunity to have their charges dropped by volunteering to provide care to the elderly,” reads the synopsis. “Once inside the eldercare facility, the volunteers discover the governor and the facility’s supervisor have cooked up a horrifyingly depraved conspiracy that endangers the young and the old in this twisted thriller-comedy.”

American Carnage is written and directed by Diego Hallivis, and co-written by Julio Hallivis.
