Sydney Sweeney and Her Fiancé Match in Coordinating Powder Blues

Sydney Sweeney and her fiancé, Jonathan Davino, had a case of the blues at the Cannes Film Festival. While headed to host a May 23 Miu Miu luncheon at L’Écrin Plage, Sweeney and Davino were spotted in matching baby-blue outfits. Sweeney’s look included a sleeveless Miu Miu dress with 3-D floral embellishments running along her side and a classic scoop neckline. Davino’s Prada polo followed the same color palette, with sky-blue, navy, and white stripes, and coordinating white pants. Styled by Molly Dickson, Sweeney accessorized with metallic heels and a white Miu Miu bag, while Davino wore beige loafers and sunglasses.

“I love the flower details, and the light-blue material of the dress,” Sweeney told Vogue about her half of the matching look. “I’ve been wanting to wear blue since it’s my favorite color, and I felt like this silhouette was perfect for a lunch in Cannes.” She added that her tousled updo with sweeping curtain bangs was inspired by her “forever beauty icon” Brigitte Bardot.

Sweeney and Davino got engaged in March 2022, yet neither has publicly commented on their relationship. “I don’t date people in the spotlight,” Sweeney previously told Cosmopolitan. “I don’t date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way.” The two follow in the footsteps of other coordinated couples such as Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens, who broke out matching designer swimsuits for their wedding weekend, and Hailey and Justin Bieber, who wore similar leather jackets in London. Read on to see how Sweeney and Davino planned their outfits for Cannes.
