This past New York Fashion Week, pimple patches made their runway debut thanks to makeup artist Fara Homidi, who expertly incorporated them into certain beauty looks at the Puppets and Puppets Spring 2023 runway. The patch in question? Starface’s cult-favourite hydrocolloid blemish covering in an exciting new colourway: black. Sleek and sharp, with the usual formula to help calm the skin, the celestial sticker not only contributes to a cultural shift that embraces acne, but also poses an opportunity for self-expression.
