For the record, I’m not talking about flimsy knits that do little else other than give my T-shirts a break. I mean big, chunky, Michelin Man–style jumpers that are cosy, comforting and, naturally, very chic. This, however, is a formidable combination and not one you come across every day. Some chunky knits can feel more bulbous than beautiful, while ones that deliver in the pretty stakes often lack the cosy quality I also look for. However, when a jumper does manage to kick off this golden triad, you know it’s worth your consideration.
