What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write My Dark Romeo?
We are OBSESSED with fairytale retellings, historical (romance books for Leigh and Asian dramas for Parker), so we thought… What if we combine what we love about both and turn it into this epic enemies-to-lovers romance? Then, MDR was born.

What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?
Parker loves non-fiction, whereas Leigh devours romance, thrillers, and more.
What books are on your TBR pile right now?
None. Between our writing schedules (and Leigh’s busy mom-of-three-kids schedule), time is so tight.
What scene in your book was your favorite to write?
Parker: I LOVED writing the party scene, particularly when Dallas tries to pilfer credit card info from Romeo.
Leigh: The plane scene.
Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)
Parker: Cookie butter, Psych on in the background, and dogs sprawled everywhere.
Leigh: Peace and quiet.
Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?
Not particularly.
