What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write The Billionaire’s Arrangement (The Kept Trilogy) Book 1?
I always wanted to write another billionaire romance. The Billionaire’s Arrangement is a spin-off from my book, The Tiger Lily Trilogy. Paul Crane is the son of Jonas Crane, the hero. I struggled with finding the right heroine. Then I came across the song Harvest Moon by Neil Young, and I envisioned Nadia Sokol and her family. There are also a few lifts from my life and experiences.
If you had to pick theme songs for the main characters of The Billionaire’s Arrangement (The Kept Trilogy) Book 1, what would they be?
With A Little Luck, by Paul McCartney and Wings. The song speaks to both characters. They can make it together if they are willing to open themselves up to love.
What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?
My favorite genre to read is Billionaire Romance, and it’s also my favorite to write.
What books are on your TBR pile right now?
The book I’m most looking forward to reading next is This Woman by Jodi Ellen Malpas. I loved the This Man series.
What scene in your book was your favorite to write?
The trip to Paris! I had so much fun exploring fantasies.
Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)
I like to write at four am. It’s quiet and dark that I enjoy the most. I think it’s a leftover from my goth life.
Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?
Besides being grateful for everything, there is a lyric by the group, The Psychedelic Furs, that I feel drawn to these days. It’s from their song, Love My Way, “You can never win or lose if you don’t run the race.” If you don’t put yourself out there, you are limiting yourself from a world of experiences. So, I write, learn, grow, and enjoy it!
If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?
There are two more books to complete the series, LOL!
