What do we see in the Apples and Airplanes trailer?
The trailer opens with a scenic shot of Nevis in the Caribbean. Olivia (King) appears intrigued by her unexpected encounter with famous actor Andre (Lockett). She tells her friend, “I met him on the airplane.” The footage then shows their first meeting, followed by a series of interactions. They are later seen sharing drinks and enjoying each other’s company.
Andre tries to make the most of his time away from filming. He tells Olivia, “So, I don’t have to work for the next few days, and you don’t have to work until Monday, right?” She agrees, “Right.” He then asks, “Do you want to hang out?”
Olivia’s friend encourages her to go with the flow, saying, “Give it a go. See what happens.” The trailer then teases more romantic moments between the two. Andre later opens up about his growing feelings for Olivia. “She’s beautiful, funny, and treats me like a real person.”
However, Olivia appears hesitant to pursue a relationship with him. “It’s all too much. Who you are, how we met, it’s too fast.” The trailer ends by teasing a moment where Andre finally shares his true emotions in front of her. “I can’t stop thinking about the odds of me sitting next to you on that plane.”
The romantic comedy also stars Dominic Burgess, Kelly Collins Lintz, Dani Deetté, and Aaron Goldenberg.
Apples and Airplanes is a Five16 Films production.
