    French Riots: Evil Forces

    By Howard Bloom

On September 17, at the Lycée Saint-Exupéry in Créteil, just southeast of Paris, teachers went on strike over missing administrative and health staff, missing aides for disabled pupils, unreplaced teachers, water leaks, a broken window left unrepaired, toilets frequently out of service, and classrooms that were stifling in summer. The next day, students used Snapchat to organize a blockade of the school. Some of them would soon advance to firing mortar style fireworks into student gathering areas.  According to the French newspaper Le Monde, no political party organized that first eruption. It was a case of spontaneous combustion.

    But it soon exploded.

Twenty days later, France is in the uprising’s third week. The upheaval has spread to more than a thousand high schools. Many were shut down. On October 6, the Interior Ministry counted roughly 266,000 demonstrators nationwide, including 56,000 in Paris. Organizers claimed that number was considerably higher. By October 7, more than 6,000 people had been arrested—most of them teenagers—and 761 police officers had been injured. And the movement is still going.

But between one high school in Créteil and a nationwide revolt, something changed. Political organizations with ambitions far beyond fixing classrooms moved in.

One is the left-wing political party France Unbowed, LFI. LFI did not start the uprising. But its politicians moved in within days, promoted the movement on social media, spoke at blockades, and openly called for the protests to spread.  LFI’s goal is blunt.  Its goal is to ignite  what it calls “the citizens’ revolution.”

But the real demon in the stew is radical Islam.

Particularly a group called the Muslim Brotherhood.  The Brotherhood was started in 1928 and a generation later made more virulent by an official of the Egyptian Ministry of Education who came to America in 1948 to study the educational system for nearly two years, was disgusted by what he saw as Western materialism, sexual permissiveness, and secularism, came home, and started a movement to overthrow the west. Often by “Islamization from below.”  That movement has thrived in astonishing ways.  Today it is active in over 70 countries, including the United States and all the major nations of Europe.

The Muslim Brotherhood’s goal is ultimately to wipe out the entire western way of life, from beer to women in bikinis.  Not to mention constitutions and democracy. France’s Interior Ministry, bluntly describes the Muslim Brotherhood’s goal as the “conquest of the west.”

The Muslim Brotherhood is stoking the fire of France’s student uprising through its local arm, the Muslim Students of France, a relative of the Muslim Students Association, a group that’s played a key role in outburst of pro-Palestinian outrage and building takeovers on America University campuses two and a half years ago,

What are the Muslim Brotherhood’s ultimate goals?  Militant Islam is often capable of thinking in terms of generations, not election cycles. Take the toppling of Constantinople.  Rome fell in 476 AD.   For the next thousand years, Constantinople was the capital of the Roman Empire and a claimant to rule all of Christendom.  The city was clothed in jewels and gilded with gold when the miserable 57,000 people left in the city of Rome were stripping marble from Rome’s monuments to burn the stone down to lime.

Not long after 629 AD Mohammed said that Islam would take Constantinople.  First, Muslim armies pried enormous Christian territories out of the Eastern Roman Empire’s hands, out of the hands of Constantinople. But the armies of Islam couldn’t conquer the city itself. The Muslims persisted through failure after failure, year after year, generation after generation.  And in 1453, after thirty generations and 824 years, they finally succeeded.

The Muslim armies broke through Constantinople’s gargantuan system of city walls, defeated the 7,000 soldiers who were left, looted and plundered for between seven hours and three days and nights, then stopped.  They turned the world’s second biggest church into a mosque.  Today the city is known as Istanbul.

Then they set another goal.  Taking what they called Romiyya, Rome.  Toppling the West.  A small but significant part of the energy of the French student street riots is being hi-jacked to advance that goal.

About the author: Howard Bloom of the Howard Bloom Institute has been called the Einstein, Newton, Darwin, and Freud of the 21st century by Britain’s Channel 4 TV. Bloom’s new book is The Case of the Sexual Cosmos: Everything You Know About Nature is Wrong. Says Harvard’s Ellen Langer of The Case of the Sexual Cosmos, Bloom “argues that we are not savaging the earth as some would have it, but instead are growing the cosmos. A fascinating read.” One of Bloom’s eight previous books–Global Brain—was the subject of a symposium thrown by the Office of the Secretary of Defense including representatives from the State Department, the Energy Department, DARPA, IBM, and MIT.  Bloom’s work has been published in The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Wired, Psychology Today, and the Scientific American. Not to mention in scientific journals like Biosystems, New Ideas in Psychology, and PhysicaPlus.  He has appeared over forty times on Iranian and Saudi TV.  Says Joseph Chilton Pearce, author of Evolution’s End and The Crack in the Cosmic Egg, “I have finished Howard Bloom’s [first two] books, The Lucifer Principle and Global Brain, in that order, and am seriously awed, near overwhelmed by the magnitude of what he has done. I never expected to see, in any form, from any sector, such an accomplishment.  I doubt there is a stronger intellect than Bloom’s on the planet.”   For more, see http://howardbloom.net or http://howardbloom.institute
