MTV has announced the first round of performers for the 2025 Video Music Awards. Taking part in the show are: Alex Warren, Busta Rhymes, J Balvin, DJ Snake, Ricky Martin, Sabrina Carpenter, and Sombr. The 2025 VMAs take place on Sunday, September 7, at UBS Arena, in Elmont, New York.
At the 2025 VMAs, Ricky Martin will receive the first-ever Latin Icon Award. In addition, Busta Rhymes will get the MTV VMA Rock the Bells Visionary Award. Hosting the show is LL Cool J.
Sabrina Carpenter made her VMAs debut last year. At the 2025 ceremony, she is nominated for Video of the Year and more for “Manchild.” She’ll release a new album, Man’s Best Friend, on August 29
