Who Is Leaving General Hospital in February 2025?

The recent plotlines explored in General Hospital have resulted in several leading characters coming to a crossroads in their lives, causing fans to wonder whether a bunch of them might be leaving the long-running soap drama this month. With Lucky in the hospital and Dante back at the case, several leading cast members could experience an unexpected exit from the series as per the ongoing narrative.

So, let’s take a look at the confirmed departures from General Hospital in February 2025.

Every actor who is leaving General Hospital in February 2025

Jeff Kober is the most prominent name to be leaving General Hospital, aside from Jonathan Jackson. However, while Kober is exiting the setup on a permanent basis, Jackson’s Lucky Spencer will make a swift return to Port Charles.

    Jeff Kober

Jeff Kober is officially leaving General Hospital this month following the demise of his character, Cyrus Renault. The suspected murderer comes face to face with Josslyn at his hideout after inadvertently landing Lucky in the hospital during his pursuit of Elizabeth. Josslyn deduces that Cyrus is the one responsible for the Digitalis murders, resulting in a scuffle between the two. Despite Cyrus attacking her with an axe, Josslyn manages to overpower him by shooting Renault in the chest with Dex’s gun.

Cyrus breathes his last in the said episode, bringing an end to his arc on the show. Actor Jeff Kober also confirmed that he’d be leaving General Hospital in an interview with Soap Opera Digest. He expressed his gratitude to the viewers for accepting Cyrus as a fitting antagonist before adding, “I really do appreciate the fans’ appreciation of me and of the character and of the stories we were able to tell.”

    Jonathan Jackson

Unlike Kober, Jonathan Jackson is only leaving General Hospital on a temporary basis. In his absence, Days of Our Lives alum Guy Wilson will take charge as Lucky Spencer. However, a spokesperson for the soap drama has confirmed that Jackson has already returned to set for filming. The reason behind his interim exit from the series remains unclear at the time of writing.
