The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 3 Spoilers: The Team Tracks A Brutal Serial Killer Obsessed With Wolves

The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 3 Spoilers: The Team Tracks A Brutal Serial Killer Obsessed With Wolves

The Hunting Party keeps pulling audiences in with suspenseful cases and intriguing team dynamics.

At the end of The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 2, Jacob Hassani hinted that Oliver knew more about the Pit explosion than he revealed.

That will likely put Bex between the two men on The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 3 as she debates who to pledge her allegiance to.

The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 3 Spoilers: The Team Tracks A Brutal Serial Killer Obsessed With Wolves
    (David Astorga/NBC)

Spoilers for the main case indicate that the team tracks down a violent serial killer named Lowe, who is also obsessed with wolves and hunters.

This one sounds messy because the team must track her in rural Montana and stop her before she harms anyone else and before the local rangers enforce their form of vigilante justice.

The Team Hunts For a Crazed Serial Killer Obsessed With Wolves

We don’t have much information about this violent serial killer, except Oliver refers to them as the most violent serial killer in the Pit.

He does that often, so I’m unsure how much stock I’d put in that. They’re all violent with some issues.

This one is obsessed with wolves and the wilderness. This could mean that they believe land is sacred and anyone who harms it or wildlife should die.

    (David Astorga/NBC)

Some people believe that, and it would explain why the team travels to rural Montana to catch this killer.

These are all scientific reasons, though. Each of these killers has been motivated by deep psychological issues, usually by thinking they were betrayed by someone they trusted.

Who hurt this killer? Did someone hurt one of their animals or their land? It doesn’t seem as easy to guess as some of the previous serial killers.

Something must have gone wrong since the local rangers got involved, demanding vigilante justice. I suspect the killer shot one of their own, and that never ends well.

It sounds like this killer escalated and became more dangerous. We’ve discussed how the first two killers on The Hunting Party went off-track.

    (David Astorga/NBC)

This one sounds like they are fueled by rage and circumstances, making that a lethal combination.

Hopefully, the team, with Jennifer Morales’s assistance, will learn what triggers this killer and can stop them in time.

We can’t wait to find out.

Tracking in the Wilderness Will Allow Josh McKenzie to Shine

This wilderness-centric episode will allow Josh McKenzie to shine. He’s been in the background for the first few episodes but should be able to use several skills he learned while filming La Brea.

They spent so much time in the wilderness and woods there, which should prove helpful here.

    (David Astorga/NBC)

The spoiler photos show the team following animal tracks, crossing streams, and avoiding being hunted.

Besides using his previous experience, Shane Florence is ex-military and may have some tracking experience, too.

In the last two episodes, we’ve seen both Bex (Melissa Roxburgh) and Jacob (Patrick Sabongui) lead.

It’s Shane’s turn to bring his expertise to the team.

Bex May Be Forced to Choose Sides on The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 3

Jacob will likely ask Bex for information about Oliver since he suspects Oliver is shady. The main problem is that Bex hasn’t had contact with Oliver in years so that she won’t know much.

From what we’ve seen so far, Bex feels some loyalty towards Oliver even though he crossed a line. She has her daughter because of him, and she’s aware he suffered greatly because he killed a man.

    (David Astorga/NBC)

She’d likely have difficulty believing that Oliver was involved with the explosion.

Several weeks ago, Nick Wechsler hinted that Jacob Hassani chirped a lot in Bex’s ear, making trouble for Oliver. That could pertain to this storyline.

Bex hates spying and being the intermediary between these two men, but she wants to learn the truth.

She’s still learning to work with Oliver and build some trust again. She doesn’t know Jacob well yet.

She knows he would have her back in the field, but it’s difficult to discern if he’s keeping specific intelligence from her.

What is the Attorney General Hiding?

    (David Astorga/NBC)

The Attorney General is in several spoiler photos for this upcoming episode, hinting that she knows more than she’s telling.

While secrets frustrate Jacob, they bother Bex even more. If the Attorney General isn’t in cahoots with Jacob, who has she been working with?

In The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 2, she lied and said faulty pipes caused the explosion. Obviously, she knows more about the Pit and likely the experiments, too.

The more we learn, the more sinister the Pit sounds. Every time Bex or Jacob questions them, their questions get discarded.

The team can only do much before they get fired for butting in where they’re not supposed to. We need them to expose these secrets eventually before anyone else gets hurt.

    (David Astorga/NBC)

Over to you, The Hunting Party Fanatics. What are you excited to see on “Lowe”?

Who should Bex believe regarding the Pit? What do you think the Attorney General is hiding?

We would love to hear your thoughts on The Hunting Party Season 1, so please share them below.

The Hunting Party airs on Mondays at 10/9c on NBC and Peacock the next day.
