Last night (November 1), in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Cardi B threw her full-throated support behind the Democratic candidate for U.S. president, Vice President Kamala Harris. After walking onstage to her breakout hit, 2017’s “Bodak Yellow,” Cardi B spoke about why she’s supporting Harris in the election, discussing women’s rights, the economy, healthcare, and more. Cardi B has been outspoken politically over the years, showing support for Senator Bernie Sanders and interviewing President Joe Biden. She also joins a growing list of musicians to endorse Harris or appear at the vice president’s campaign events. Among those to support Harris are: Taylor Swift, Michael Stipe, Jason Isbell, Eminem, Beyoncé, and Gracie Abrams.
