I Guess Kid Rock is No Longer Boycotting Bud Light?

I Guess Kid Rock is No Longer Boycotting Bud Light?

Not that we ever expect Kid Rock to be much of a stand-up guy, but we now have new photographic evidence that he’s not always a man of his word. Just a few months after posting a video of himself decimating a case of Bud Light with his beloved AR-15, the singer was spotted sipping a cobalt blue can at a Colt Ford concert in Nashville Thursday night (August 17th).

To catch you up to speed, Kid Rock got his panties in a wad back in April after Bud Light partnered with Dylan Mulvaney, a content creator and transgender woman. Just a couple of days later — and not even a week after a school shooting in his Nashville hometown left six people dead — Kid Rock really tried to stick it to the man by presumably purchasing a case of Bud Light, just so he could take a video of himself shootin’ ’em up for social media: “Grandpa is feeling a little frisky today,” he said in the clip. “Let me say something to all of you and be as clear and concise as possible… Fuck Bud Light. Fuck Anheuser-Busch.”

But that apparent boycott didn’t last too long: Despite some of his fellow transphobic bar owners taking Bud Light off the menu, Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse was still serving Bud Light as of July.

Maybe Kid Rock has silently turned a new leaf and accepted that LGBTQ+ people exist and shouldn’t sway his beer choices. Or, maybe his performed militancy is just as lazy as his songwriting.

LOL. Last night Kid Rock was pictured drinking a Bud Light at a concert after he led an effort to cancel the company.
