“How did you two lovebirds meet?” “Oh, we were isolated in ‘pods’ and couldn’t see each other, but we talked and talked and got engaged and then we connected in person.”
With that ripe-for-drama premise, Netflix’s Love Is Blindhas become a reality smash. Even when the reality dating show isn’t trying to be dramatic, it is. The Season 4 reunion was meant to be streamed live on Netflix on April 16, but technical issues led to nearly an hour-long delay. When the reunion finally commenced, the cast certainly kept the drama going.
A solid handful of Love Is Blind couples are still together. Before meeting the new romantic hopefuls in Season 5 this fall, check out these highs and lows (mostly lows) from across the franchise (Brazil and Japan included)— and be glad your major life decisions aren’t televised.
