Atlanta-raised rapper Kali has shared another remix of her viral hit “Area Codes.” This one is the “Area Codes (773 Remix),” and it features the emerging Chicago drill rapper Mello Buckzz. Listen to the new song below.
Kali released the original “Area Codes” in March, and the remix series finds her linking up with other American rappers to stamp the song with a regionally specific twist. Before the “773 Remix” there was the “718 Remix” with Bronx drill up-and-comer Kenzo B, the “415 Remix” with San Francisco’s Lil Kayla, the “314 Remix” with St. Louis’ Sexyy Red, and the “850 Remix” with Tallahassee’s Luh Tyler.
As for Mello Buckzz, she has a growing hit of her own with the Latto-assisted “Boom, Pt. 2,” and she was recently featured on G Herbo’s mixtape Strictly 4 My Fans 2.
