Taylor Swift’s new deluxe version of Midnights is out now. As previously reported, it comes with two new songs: a new remix of “Karma” with Ice Spice and an extended version “Snow on the Beach,” featuring more contributions from Lana Del Rey.
According to Del Rey, Swift originally asked her to sing the entire second verse of the original version of “Snow on the Beach.” “My job as a feature on a big artist’s album is to make sure I help add to the production of the song, so I was more focused on the production,” she told Billboard. “She was very adamant that she wanted me to be on the album, and I really liked that song.”
Ice Spice has had a breakout year following the success of “Munch (Feelin’ U).” She recently shared “Boy’s a Liar, Pt. 2” with PinkPantheress; she’s also set to appear on the Barbie soundtrack alongside Nicki Minaj on “Barbie World.”
Del Rey’s new album, Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, came out earlier this year.
Swift is still on her Eras Tour. She’s releasing Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) on July 7.
